| "Proper uidance from parents"
You can't put all the blame to media and various toy manufacturer as to why children nowadays are becoming more and more violent. It is also the parents who are responsible for rearing such violent children. The parents themselves don't know that what they thought of doing right is actually doing the harm to their children. So before you buy that toy gun, watch that violent series with your child think first if it ca affect your child's psyche. |
| I definitely agree that everything you expose your child to will have an effect and the effect of exposing your child to a lot of violence and treating it as something casual will be a casual approach to violence in the child. By that I do not mean that they will be mild without violent tendencies, but I mean that they will not react to violence happening, but will accept it as something normal. |
| It is true that the different toys that children play have a big influence as they grow. Hence, parents should learn to purchase the right toys for their kids. Toys for kids should stimulate their minds to do good and not any violence. I also don't prefer buying guns for my boys. I'd rather buy toys that are educational and something that allows them to identify sounds of animals. |
| I have to agree. As parents we sure have to look after for the stuffs that we do buy for our kids. No matter what those might be, toys, tapes to watch and listen and even their reading materials! We all want the best for our kids. And we cannot expect them to be the best of what they can be if we do not provide the necessary things that they need to grow up well. |
| Being a parent is one of the toughest job in the world. You work for 24/7 without being paid except for the love and happiness that you would feel. Being a parent is not that easy, it takes a lot of courage and risk taking to perform your responsibilities as one. Being a single parent is indeed tougher that you get the chance of taking full responsibilities of being a parent. |

Besides external influence like toys, television and video games, it is the parents who have he full responsibility of shaping the minds of a child. This is why we must learn to guide them and support them as they grow up. Be open for them, to make them resilient to peer pressure from school, find someone to rely on when stressed at school or got bullied. Be their best friend and parent. |
| "We Were Once Kids As Well "
It is not easy to be a parent. And I salute those parent who did well in taking care of their kids. It is not easy to deal with issues of our kids but then again, all of us had been in the same stage of life. And as parents, we have to bear with them and guide them throughout their quest to becoming the best person they can be. |
