The employee relations climate

Thank author of this post/commentAs soon as a new intern steps in the door and walks down the hall and into the cafeteria he/she know what the "company climate" is. Itīs in the air, you might say.

How are people walking, sitting, talking, dressing, everything? Are they motivated. What a terrible word!

Who knows what motivation is? But we all know when it is is present, when people are motivated.

What causes this? What motivates? A good salary? Being praised all the time?

The basic idea is that the compounded amount of employee motivation adds up to company "climate".

To begin with, here are some items to take into account:

1- Respect from management.

2- Fair dealings and job assignments.

3- Just evaluations.

4- Clear job responsibilities.

Finally, a good "business" relationship.
