Christmas Depression

Ginger from North Pole -

Usually when people talk about depression they want to get into chemical imbalances and all sorts of excuses and crap.

With Christmas depression it is obviously not chemical or sun ad it is too early for SAD to kick in.

So, besides going postal on Santa and listening to everyone's sorry excuses and stupid solitions what can someone do?

I presume you are handling a depression case that does not seem genuine. Holidays are normally supposed to be times to make merry and enjoy but for some, it is a time to feel isolated and unwanted. In fact, cases of suicide are mostly reported around this time.

There could be legitimate cases but considering what you consider stupid solutions and sorry excuses, perhaps people people should reduce their social obligations

Really, I am not aware that this is the case at some people but as of me and my family and friends, holidays are special days to celebrate. Everybody are in joyful mood and love is always at their hearts. But you know what, I think those people who are having those kind of depression seems to have some issues in life. But I suggest that during this jolly time of the year let us all be thankful and happy.
