a good way I think to recover from depression is to get out and do things. Go out with your friends, if you dont got a job than get one, just keep yourself busy to keep from thinking about your problems, also try walkin or running, excersising tends to make you feel better and helps clear your mind.

Getting out and being with people is great--if you can do it. If not, journal writing is a way of communicating with your inner self and finding out what you really feel and think. Allow yourself to feel whatever it is, and write about it. Keeping feelings locked up inside is a sure route to depression. Self-expression is a pretty sure way out.

I'm a therapist, and I write every day, mainly when I first wake up, when dreams are still around. All sorts of things have come from that practice.
