| Social Phobia I have suffered from panic attacks and social phobia for many years and I saw many psychologist and psychiatrist in Amman - Jordan and no one has helped me and I became addicted on benzo .Lastly I found a very good, and famous psychiatrist in Amman Dr Mohamad Al-Dabbas who helped me so much by using drug therapy and cognitive behavior therapy and I'm much much better now. Do you think that benzodiazepines should be forebidden? |

hey Kamar, it's Raed from Jordan :)I also suffer from social phobia & depression. I don't know much about benzo, I used to be on Citalopram & other drugs but not anymore...I just really hated how they made me feel, so for now I'm focusing on CBT and relaxation methods. anyways, I'm really glad your doing better and here's my email if you feel like talking raedpes88@live.com |

Social phobia, correct me if I am wrong but does this means that you guys are afraid of people? Why? I have some friends who finds it hard to go out with people but that do not make me think that they are afraid of people themselves. When you are to go out in the streets, do you feel stressed by the sight of so many people walking around you? |
